Computer Help for People Over 55
In my line of work, I have found that people over 55 often find computers frustrating and usually need help. To the mature people in the Burlington and surrounding area, we are offering gifts for seniors. Free computer help seminars on the second Monday of every month. Space is limited to 4 people per seminar so call and register early.
These seminars are for Personal Computers (PC), not for Macintosh (Mac) and the operating system is Windows. There are different versions of Windows but don’t fear. It’s like learning how to drive a car. You can drive any make, any model or any year of car. Different cars have controls located at different places and sometimes the controls look slightly different, but you can always figure them out. Windows is no different.
With computers, usually the same task can be performed in various ways. We are structuring our seminars to deal with the task-at-hand and not confuse you with many ways to accomplish the same thing. For each seminar, we will provide you with take home material to reinforce the learning process and ask that if you have your own laptop computer, feel free to bring it along with you for hands on experience.
Always remember Windows online help and the particular application’s online help are your best bets for solutions to your immediate needs.
Okay, let’s get started by calling (905) 336-0259 and register today for the topics that are of interest to you.
